In order to assess the initial level of knowledge on diabetes and pregnancy, an anonymous survey of 438 doctors who work with pregnant women was conducted: 274 obstetricians, 96 family physicians, 52 neonatologists and 16 anesthesiology and intensive care. The results showed that experts had a low level of knowledge on diabetes and pregnancy. It’s needed to develop clinical protocols (standards) for planning and management of pregnancy, childbirth in women with diabetes mellitus and training.Read more
