SOME EPIDEMIOLOGICAL AND EPIZOOTIC FEATURES PREVALENCE OF BRUCELLOSIS IN DISTRICTS OF REPUBLICAN SUBORDINATION REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

Aim. Study of some epidemiological and epizootic features prevalence of brucellosis in districts of republican subordination republic of Tajikistan.

Materials and methods. Results are based on data annual reports of the Statistical Agency under President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Center for Health Statistics and Information of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the National Service Center Antiepizootic state veterinary supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period from 2006 to 2010.

Results. Revealed that in the Republic of Tajikistan Districts of Republican Subordination rank second in brucellosis among the population and the largest incidence of farm animals (cattle and small ruminants). The average incidence of brucellosis among the population of the republic for the years 2006 — 2010 is 14,1 per 100 thousand population, where as Districts of Republican Subordination, the figure is 16,8 per 100 thousand population, which is 2,66 more than the average of the republic. Of the total number of patients registered for 5 years in the republic of the population accounted for 26,6% of Districts of Republican Subordination, where as the incidence of farm animals in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period amounted to 7185 cases, of which 45,5 % came from districts of republican subordination.

Conclusion. Among the population 13 of Districts of Republican Subordination for the analyzed period the incidence of brucellosis among the population and among farm animals are not evenly distributed. In particular population Rogun, Jirgital and Rudaki district is 2 times higher than the average for the region, Varzobsky area 2,8 times, Tavildara region is 3,5 times higher, respectively. Among farm animals was a high incidence of brucellosis in areas Tursunzoda, Hissar and Shakhrinav.
