    • THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THERAPY IMMUNOSTIMULATING ONYCHOMYCOSIS IN ELDERLY AND SENILE AGES

      The article shows the efficiency of complex method of treatment of mycosis stop with onychomycosis in elderly and senile ages using immunostimulant thymocine 45 patients aged 60 to 85 years. Using methods of bacteriological research, 64.4% of the patients were grown culture of Trichophyton rubrum, in 11.1% of Trichophyton mentagrophytis var.interdigitale, in 24.4% – fungi not sown. Intertriginous form of mycosis stop diagnosed in 12 patients, dishydrotic – 6, mixed – 18. Combination squamous and intertriginous forms was observed in 11 patients, squamous, dishydrotic and intertriginous – for 7. The erased form of mycosis stop was noted in 9 patients. Immediate and remote results of treatment showed a significant advantage of an integrated method of treatment with the application of immune system stimulant.       One of the most urgent problems in the structure of modern somatic pathology remains endo¬toxicosis, which is a basic component of the formation of the severity of the General condition. The article presents the results of analysis of toxic blood components 206 patients endotoxemia developed in the result of acute renal failure, peritonitis and septicemia in comparison with the figures of 20 healthy donors. Material for the study served as the blood of patients aged from 17 to 62 years, of which men made up 59,3% of women – 40,3%. The study used biochemical, gel-chromatography and infrared spectroscopic methods of diagnostics indicators token to reflect the level of intoxication. Found that the toxicity index in patients endotoxemia increases by more than 700%, compared with the control.     • The clinical and immunological features of onychomycosis in elderly and the senile age

      From among 45 patients at the age of 60-85 (men – 36, women – 9) with onychomycosis 23 (51.1%) had distal and lateral form, 5 (11.1%) -superficial and white, 6 (13.3%) – proximal and hyponychial, 11 – total and dystrophic. All patients with onychomycosis had various forms of the athlete’s foot. The cell immunity decreased (fall of CD3 and CD8) and the humoral one increased (raise of IgM, IgG and the circulating immune complexes).
